What are the different specialisations available in MBA?
MaxValue Online MBA is available in all the functional specialisations such as:
- MBA in Marketing Management.

How often is your curriculum updated?
MaxValue will update the curriculum every 6 months and incorporate the latest trends and developments into the curriculum. The Industry Advisory Board will meet once in 6 months to perform this task.
What are 'Professional Certificates'?
In addition to the MBA degree you will earn at the end of the two years, Professional Certificates are the certificates and diplomas you will keep receiving as you keep completing courses in each semester. For instance, in the first semester, when you finish a course, say Marketing Management, you will receive a Single Subject Certificate in Marketing Management. Once you complete the entire first semester, you will receive a Diploma in General Management and so on.
What are the certificates and diplomas that are offered?
- When you complete each course in a semester, you earn a Single Subject Certificate.
- After the completion of Semester I, you will receive a Certificate in General Management.
- On completion of the first year, you will receive a Diploma in General Management.
- In the second year, once you complete 4 out of the 8 specialization courses, you will receive a Diploma in the given specialization. (e.g., Diploma in Telecom Management).
- At the end of the second year, you will receive a Postgraduate Certificate in the given specialization (e.g., PG Certificate in Telecom Management).
- At the end of the second year, based on the university examinations conducted after each semester, you will receive an MBA degree from the University.

Do I have to pay anything extra for these certificates?
No. These certificates are offered free of cost.
What is the value of these certificates?
At the individual level, professional Certificates and diplomas act as positive reinforcement for your efforts. These certificates keep you motivated and urge you to continue the programme. From a career perspective, these certificates can serve as proof of additional qualifications you have acquired and will come in handy during your internal performance appraisals. In addition, the knowledge you gain will significantly improve your day to day performance on the job and helps you make sense of your work environment and respond to challenges in a better and more scientific manner. For some reason, if a few students discontinue the programme before the 2- year period, these certificates will cover the time they spent on the programme.
How many total credits are required?
The MaxValue Online MBA consists of 24 courses. A full credit course requires the student to spend about 30 hours (clock hours) of learning. This includes the time spent on reading, working on the various activities… etc. A half credit course requires the student to spend 15 hours.
How many courses do I take per semester?
In a semester, you will take 6 full-credit courses or its equivalent if half-credit courses are present. However, you will take these courses sequentially, focusing on just one course per month.
Is it possible to finish the course sooner?
Each course requires at least 30 hours of work. You could finish the course in a few days or a few weeks depending on the time and pace you are comfortable with
Do I have to follow a specific curriculum path or can I take whatever courses I want?
The programme is structured based on the specialization you choose and each semester has specific courses and they have to be taken in that order.
I haven't taken a Math course in years. Can I still succeed in the MaxValue Online?
If you feel that your Math is rusty, you can enroll in our free Foundation Module that covers the fundamentals of quantitative techniques. This is an optional course and you can do it at your own pace.
